Summer issue of Thrivent magazine arriving now

Stories on faith, finance and volunteerism feature many members of Thrivent Financial


MINNEAPOLIS (July 26, 2010) – The latest issue of Thrivent magazine, the magazine for members of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, features Thrivent members from across the country, each sharing their personal stories of faith, volunteerism and financial decision making.

In the Summer 2010 issue, the cover story, “Life Insurance for Children?” explores the key questions parents have about whether they should buy life insurance for their children. The article encourages readers to think about the importance of buying life insurance before health issues arise (often unexpectedly); the possible benefits of using some types of life insurance to help save money for college or other uses once children become adults; and how life insurance for children can help families with expenses that occur when someone dies.
