Fall issue of Thrivent magazine arriving now
Stories on faith, finance and volunteerism feature many members
| MINNEAPOLIS/APPLETON, Wis. (Oct. 28, 2009) – The latest issue of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans’ member magazine Thrivent features Thrivent members from across the country, each sharing their personal stories of faith, volunteerism and financial decision making.
In the Fall 2009, issue, the cover story “Big Choices” looks at how four members made life-altering decisions. Life coaches and other experts weigh in with their insights and offer different methods to use when making critical decisions. In other featured articles, Thrivent Financial leaders evaluate the current state of the economy in “One Year Later”; often confusing investing and insurance terms are simplified in “Money Talk”; and “Care You Deserve” provides an overview of long-term care and the things that should be considered when evaluating options for yourself or your loved one. Members also can refresh their memories with “Why Lutherans Do What We Do,” a humorous look at 10 things to help define us as Lutherans; and improve their health with “20 Minutes to a Better You,” which offers four ideas to a healthier, happier and more energetic life.
