State Fair poll: Personal finances more ’roller coaster‘ than ’fun house‘
Economic ups and downs no joy ride, according to Thrivent Financial survey
| MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 5, 2009) – Minnesota State Fair goers say their personal finances are more like a roller coaster than a fun house, according to a recent poll of 531 attendees at the Minnesota State Fair. The survey, taken Friday, Sept. 4 at the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans booth, found that 62 percent of fair goers say their finances resemble a roller coaster while 38 percent say their money situation resembles a fun house.
Men and younger respondents are most apt to say their finances share the ups and downs of a roller coaster while females and seniors are most apt to liken their finances to a fun house.
